Significant Change... Again
Fore!
As we continue to hang out together, we share more and more life (and death) events. I started to think about this and as a group, a lot has happened to us: Frank and Terry got married (thank God, not to each other); Terry got transferred to Indy and never left; Ralph and Hitch entered into a retirement phase; Hitch stopped smoking (good man!); Capp had lots of babies and jobs; speaking of babies -- Rath had two at a time; Don R. keeps not retiring, John entered a new teaching career; Barry married off another daughter; Jocobii opened another office as his daughter started college; BobBaLou keeps selling Tootsie Rolls and making bucks in the RE game, Jimmini continues to put pressure on his competitors, Don F. shot an 88 (Don will tell you this was a life event); Gil and Capt Hook do everything to remain single; Tom navigated through the MS stuff; and, of course, Donn left for the big golf course in the sky.
As for me, I will be moving to Florida within the next months - when the builder finishes my new house and I can sell my old one. I doubt if many of you heard about the town of North Port which is south of Bradenton and north of Port Charlotte. But the area is growing rapidly and is expected to continue to grow at a more rapid rate than any other part of FL (according to what I read, anyway). Suzan and I are driving down this week to check out the progress on the new house and to get the heck out of the Chicago golf-season-killer-weather we are having.
I look forward to telling you more over the phone or in person. Which reminds me... please mark your calendars for Wednesday, December 21st from 3-9 PM which is the Royal Fox annual open house freebie (reservations required).

Ralph Got An Eagle! So What You Say.
Ralph got 134 yard Eagle on number 10 this week while playing a 7 point Scotch Game. The question is... should an Eagle or an Ace be worth more points in a Scotch Game? And if so, how should the calculation be done?Technically, if an Ace or Eagle is not declared on the first tee, you might not get your opponents to even agree an umbrella was earned since it is understood that an unbrella is earned only with a Birdie.
